Easter weekend

No chip carving for me this weekend. Instead it's a good time for family and remembering what this weekend is truly about.
Next week I'll talk about a commemorative chip carving that I plan to design and carve in the upcoming weeks.

Weekend Chip Carving Completed

I reached my goal last night by finishing the second side of the chip carved napkin holder. I'll post a picture of it as soon as it gets finished and assembled. I'm pleased with the results. I think I'll offer this as a free pattern soon in an upcoming Chip Carving Chat e-letter.

Chip carving weekend goal

Well, it wasn't until Sunday afternoon during the NCAA tourney announcements but I did carve half of the napkin holder I set out to carve this past weekend. Hopefully I'll chip carve the other side early this week.
It feels good to set a goal and reach it.

Snow on the ground this morning in Minnesota. We shoulda known better than to think spring was coming so soon. :-)
